Project 365: Day 56 – Always the Same
My brother and I went to see Alice in Wonderland 3D today, for free because my brother’s friend was working and didn’t let us pay for the tickets. We saved just a little over $22 with that so we had Vietnamese for dinner afterwards. I always get the same thing when I go, which is bbq pork and egg rolls with rice vermicelli. I love getting full on Vietnamese food because it’s not a disgusting feeling type of full you usually get from other types of cuisine.
Project 365: Day 55 – A Shadow of Myself
It was so gorgeous out today. I decided to take advantage of it, in case we get one more snowstorm before it’s rightfully spring. Went for a walk in one of my town’s main roads, where a lot of the people usually walk/jog/bike. This is just my shadow as I walked back home.
Project 365: Day 54 – A Full Friday
I missed quite a few days now, so instead of going through my Blackberry to sort through how many pics and which pics I took on which days, I’m just going to consider this past Friday as Day 54 and Day 55 as the next day in which I have pics to post up. So in actuality I will be doing this for more than 365 consecutive days.
So last week we had another snowstorm. Started out last Friday shoveling the snow in that first photo. Then went into the city for the John Mayer concert at Madison Square Garden. Michael Franti was the opening act and he was awesome; really got the crowd hyped up. John Mayer was a guitar beast; he’s really musically talented, despite his recent verbal diarrhea. I ended my night with some halal chicken over rice, which I haven’t had in such a long time. The last photo was my view of the Empire State Building from the halal corner stand I was waiting at. Project 365: Day 53 – Molten Turtle Bundt
With caramel. Bought this from the B&N Cafe, along with a couple of books today.
I missed a photo for yesterday :/
Project 365: Day 51 – Mongolian Grill
Ate dinner at a place called Mongolian Grill right near our hotel. It was a new dining experience for me. I liked that there were instructions in how we had to have our food made.
My first bowl, I chose noodles with some bean sprouts, chopped bok choy, sliced steak, shrimp, and some sauces. It tasted good, but I should’ve put some sesame oil also because it was a little dry.
My second bowl was rice, veggies, sliced steak, chicken, shrimp, sauces, and sesame oil. This one definitely came out better than the first bowl. I can’t wait to get back there again soon.
Project 365: Day 50 – Tweet! Tweet! I’m home!
Saw this birdhouse at the rest area on my way down to Maryland this weekend.
Project 365: Day 48 – Ashes
This is my brother’s forehead with ashes, since it was Ash Wednesday. We were waiting for our cheese and mushroom pizza to be done and I thought it’d be interesting to take a photo of his ashed forehead in front of the wallpaper with basically the three types of food we’ll have to eat during Lent.
