Project 365: Day 64 – A Good Friday Birthday
It was my 2?th birthday today and I’m so glad to say that it was a good one
All throughout the day I received birthday greetings from more people than I expected, which makes me really happy, because no one likes to be forgotten on their birthdays.
For my birthday dinner, we went to IchiUmi, a sushi/seafood buffet. Quite expensive, but well worth the money!
Afterwards, went back home, where my sis and b-i-l met up with us, to have my mocha-flavored birthday cake, pictured above. My awesome Papa bought it for me this afternoon as a surprise
After the singing and cutting and eating cake, the siblings and I went to the movies to watch Clash of the Titans in 3D. It was a treat from my sis and b-i-l, and they also gave me a $30 B&N gift card! I already know what that gift card is going towards lol
I also got snail mail birthday cards and packages from a couple of online friends, which were a real treat to find in my mailbox yesterday
I’m so used to emails and digital versions of things these days that receiving cards in the mail was like a breath of fresh air.
Overall, it was a fantastic birthday, with love from family and friends. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Am I glad that I am commenting on this as I am chewing mocha chiffon cake. Thank God for nearby bakeries that stay open past midnight on weekends! Haha!
I smiled when I read the following: “my 2?th birthday today”. I am so ready to put the question mark on my own age as well. Now I just say, “Happy 18th birthday, plus tax!”. Glad that you had a wonderful birthday and may you continue to have a wonderful Easter holiday. =)

sounds like a great birthday
and haha to the “my 2? birthday.” Reminded me of a song, that I can’t remember more of than that they sing something about “I’m always 21″… I was wondering the other day how old you were, am I right that you are one year older than me?
